PROJECTS with SSF

DESCON has implemented several projects with Somali Stability fund under Adam Smith management invadable and Mahadeo, war sheikh and Mogadishu.

After SSF received a request from local stakeholders of Adale and Mahaday Districts to assist them with the rehabilitation/construction of Adale and Mahaday district administration offices, meeting hall, and basketball court/playground;

A. SSF Towfiq Ward, Mogadishu
B. SSF Adale & Mahaday, Middle Shabelle

SSF commissioned DESCON to undertake the following scope of work:

• 1. Conduct site visit and find out other necessary details to meet the specific needs of these projects.
• Work closely and coordinate with the community and local authorities for the assessment of the selected sites
• Assess the environmental impacts of the requested SSF projects
• Conduct local market analysis (Adale and Mahadaay) survey of construction materials availability, quality and pricing.
• DESCON to share detailed work plan and budgets into three phases that is separated stages of project design, bidding and monitoring the construction works.
